Congressman Gosar Votes Against Spending Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Representative Paul Gosar, D.D.S, released the following statement after voting against the Conference Report to Accompany H.J. Res. 31 - Consolidated Appropriations Act:

"I cannot sit by and watch thousands of Americans die and thousands of people being trafficked because this body refuses to do its constitutional duty," said Congressman Gosar. "This funding bill is an insult to the thousands of Americans who are on the front lines of this humanitarian and national crisis at our southern border. The President should take all measures necessary to protect American lives. We must secure our border."
