WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after the passing of the Conference report to accompany HR 1, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

“Today, we made history,” said Congressman Gosar. “I’m proud to have voted for the passing of a comprehensive, common sense and pro-growth tax reform. Until today, President Ronald Reagan was the last man to sit in the Oval Office with enough moxy and courage to reform our broken tax code. Today, his words ring true:

“You can’t be for big government, big taxes and big bureaucracy and still be for the little guy.”

“After 31 years, we finally accomplished our long-held goal to benefit the hard working American by reducing taxes and creating jobs,” said Gosar. “This bill will go to President Trump’s desk with years of work behind it, and I’m excited to see how it positively impacts the lives of everyday Americans.”
