Gosar clashes with Flagstaff environmentalists

U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Doney Park, wanted to address many topics Friday at a town hall meeting in Flagstaff…"I got to sit at the table for two years, and I got to speak my piece," he said to the audience. For some, it was a chance to tell Gosar they didn't like his policies, particularly in environmental areas…Gosar cited his family's history opposing a proposed use of a nuclear device to aid mining where he grew up in Wyoming, and said it was safer to remove the uranium from the canyon than leave it there, and that it was a needed part of the national energy supply.
