“I am pleased to have cast my vote in support of my good friend, Congressman Johnson, to lead our country as the next Speaker. Speaker Johnson will govern alongside House conservatives to pursue an agenda that includes funding the government through the individual appropriations bills. He is committed to defunding woke and weaponized federal programs and he will use all available tools to confront and restrain the failed, America Last Biden administration.
I have repeatedly said that this was not the time to have a Speaker’s battle. We have an economy suffering from Bidenflation, an invasion along our southern border, violent crime destroying our cities, a federal budget that has yet to be passed and two major global wars. It is time for House Republicans and Congress to unite around Mr. Johnson and get to work to solve the many problems ailing our nation,” concluded Congressman Gosar.
