Gosar Responds to Yuma Medical Center Illegal Alien Healthcare Crisis

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Paul Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09) issued the following statement in response to news reports that the Yuma Medical Center is spending over $20 million in uncompensated care for illegal aliens crossing the southern border.
“Illegal aliens bring crime, drugs, human trafficking and deplete resources meant for American citizens. In Yuma, illegal aliens have flooded our community in search of “free” healthcare for over a year, overwhelming the Yuma Medical Center.
While Joe Biden turns a blind eye to the consequences of his disastrous open border policies, Yuma is ground zero and our only medical center is in a financial crisis forcing some local residents, including pregnant mothers, to be turned away.
