Representative Gosar and Students Celebrate Constitution Day
Prescott, AZ—U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar (R-AZ) celebrated Constitution Day today by discussing with students the history and importance of our nation’s governing document. Congressman Gosar visited with students at the American Heritage Academy in Cottonwood and the Mission Heights Preparatory High School in Casa Grande.
“The U.S. Constitution provides the basis for our exceptional nation. Our Constitution protects our God given freedoms and provides the framework for a nation designed to allow Americans to pursue the American dream with limited government interference. I spent today, Constitution Day, reflecting upon the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution with students in Arizona,” said Congressman Gosar.
“It is by teaching, respecting and honoring this vital document from generation to generation that our nation has continued to serve as a beacon of freedom and equality. As the Framers knew, America will continue to be blessed by liberty so long as we always preserve, protect and honor the Constitution.”
Congressman Gosar swore an oath to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. He takes that oath very seriously and uses the Constitution as his guide for all of his legislative actions in Washington, D.C. More information can be found on his website at http://gosar.house.gov/constitution
