Congressman Gosar Attends Ceremony Highlighting A Partnership He Developed For New Stage of State-of-the-Art Equipment Donations to Tuba City Hospital TUBA CITY, AZ –Congressman Paul Gosar D.D.S (AZ-R), attended a ceremony today to mark a second round of contributions to the Tuba City Hospital from KARL STORZ. Congressman Gosar helped facilitate the initial planning meetings between the hospital and the company, making the donations possible. The current stage of the partnership program now addresses the hospital’s strong commitment to developing its minimally invasive surgical techniques in gynecology. Today’s contributions will further the hospital’s goal to create a Women’s Health Center at Tuba City that will function as a center of knowledge and serve as a training site where surgeons can improve their skills and master new techniques. To hear the full speech please see the video or read the full-text here Excerpts from Congressman Gosar’s Remarks: “I ran for Congress because I strongly believe that when government teams up with innovative people from the business community, the American people win – and get the best bang for their buck. I’m here to highlight a project which does just that – solves a local problem without government intervention or resources.” “I am pleased and proud to have worked with each of you to develop a strong and innovative partnership. The good people at Karl STORZ have been leaders in not only medical technology, but in bringing cutting edge life saving health care solutions to the poorest people in the world. Recently the company decided to refocus some of their philanthropic work here in the United States and wanted to work with Native American populations.” “Together we can work to build a stronger healthcare system within our local communities and ultimately a stronger nation.” ### |
