The Natural Resources Committee is holding a hearing on the Navajo Generating Station. On April 20th, Representatives Gosar and Franks sent a letter to the Committee requesting this hearing.
“I applaud the Natural Resources Committee for making the time to hold this important hearing,” said Congressman Gosar. “The Navajo Generating Station serves Arizona as a reliable power supply and creates high-paying jobs in one of the poorest regions in the country. It is vital that Congress examine the bureaucratic rules that are threatening nearly 1,000 jobs and one of Arizona’s major sources of water and power. I look forward to this hearing so that we can continue to uncover unreasonable regulations and failures in government and find ways to move forward while balancing the economic needs of the region and environmental concerns.”
