Senate Approves Gosar Bill to Name Prescott Vet Center After Dr. Cameron McKinley

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after the Senate unanimously passed his sponsored legislation, H.R. 1216, which will designate the Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Center in Prescott, Arizona, as the “Dr. Cameron McKinley Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Center”:

Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after the Senate unanimously passed his sponsored legislation, H.R. 1216, which will designate the Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Center in Prescott, Arizona, as the “Dr. Cameron McKinley Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Center”:

“I am thrilled to see the Senate quickly act to pass my legislation and recognize the distinguished life and career of Dr. Cam McKinley. Naming the Prescott Vet Center after Dr. McKinley will forever be a fitting testament to his commitment and dedication in helping his fellow veterans through his groundbreaking work treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I urge President Obama to sign this legislation into law in a timely manner and honor this Arizona hero.”
