U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S (AZ-04) released the following statement after the passing of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher:

"I was sad to learn of the loss of Margaret Thatcher. Lady Thatcher was a determined and accomplished statesman who understood the people, promoted personal responsibility, and won the argument for free markets. Not just in politics but in every area of life, we can all learn from Lady Thatcher, who wasn't afraid of hard work or standing for her beliefs."

"Today, I am reminded of Margaret Thatcher's quote: 'Where there is discord, may we bring harmony. Where there is error, may we bring truth. Where there is doubt, may we bring faith. And where there is despair, may we bring hope.'"
