 Rep. Paul Gosar Applauds Passage of Keystone Pipeline Legislation  

U.S. Congressman Paul  Gosar, D.D.S (AZ-04) voted in favor of the Northern Route Approval Act, H.R. 3. This legislation approves the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Last night, the Northern Route Approval Act passed the House of Representatives.

Rep. Gosar issued the following statement in response to passage of this bill: “During this down economy, when many are out of work and struggling to make ends meet, job creation should be a top priority for Congress. The Keystone XL pipeline would undoubtedly create jobs for Americans at a time when our country needs them most."

Rep. Gosar continued, "In addition, we need more energy sources in our country and lower energy costs for Americans. It’s time to get government out of the way and allow the private sector to build the Keystone XL Pipeline.”

As a member of the Natural Resources Committee, Rep. Gosar urged action on the bill after it passed out of committee earlier this year.
