Rep. Gosar: Administration's Benghazi Cover Up Reprehensible Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after questioning witnesses at a hearing held by the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The hearing focused on the September 11, 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi. “We now know from a recently released email that the administration was not concerned with reporting facts but was very concerned about public perception of President Obama, the strength of his policies, and the response - or lack thereof - to a terrorist attack. They were less concerned about protecting the four heroes who died in Benghazi than they were about the President's image. This is cowardice. “I will not rest until the families of these brave men, and the American people, learn the whole truth and until the administration officials responsible for this cover up are held accountable.” ### |
