Gosar Votes to Ensure America Remains on a Path to Prosperity Today, Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S voted for “The Path to Prosperity,” House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s Fiscal 2013 budget (H.Con.Res.112) and the Republican Study Committee's (RSC) Fiscal Year 2013 alternative budget. Congressman Gosar stated, “Our nation needs bold leadership to address our fiscal crisis. For far too long, politicians have used reckless procrastination, ignoring current problems by deferring costs to future generations. Our nation deserves better. Both conservative budgets I voted for today put forth a plan that ensures our country will be and shall forever remain a nation with the hope of prosperity and opportunity.” Gosar went on to say, “The House-passed Ryan Budget cuts spending, simplifies the tax code, and reforms Social Security and Medicare, ensuring that our nation keeps its promises to current seniors while making the programs sustainable for future generations.” For more information on the House Republican’s FY2013 budget, please visit the House Budget Committee Website. |
