Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress to voice his concerns with the ongoing negotiations with Iran and their attempts to obtain nuclear production capabilities:

“This morning I was pleased to welcome one of America’s closest friends and ally, Prime Minister Netanyahu. I strongly share in his urgency and belief that the world cannot allow for a nuclear Iran, that the U.S. must enact strict sanctions to hold the corrupt Iranian regime accountable and that Congress must have the final say on any negotiations that are made with Iran.

“While it is easy to be overwhelmed by the darkness that exists in the world today, it is more important than ever to remember and return to the fundamentals that made America great: Faith in God, faith in each other and faith in our allies. Sometimes it is just that simple. That is why I proudly stand with the people of Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu in our joint effort to secure a more stable and peaceful world.”
