IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

Representative Gosar and House Members Cut Department of Justice Salaries until Stonewalling Ceases

Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed by voice vote an  amendment to cut salaries by $1,000,000 from the Department of Justice’s General Administration Fund until the agency provides answers to the failed gunrunning operation, Fast and Furious.

“Attorney General Holder continues to let the nation down by refusing to comply with Congressional inquiries that would shine a light on how this fundamentally flawed operation came to be and who was responsible,” said Congressman Gosar. “It is insulting enough that Attorney General Holder continues to deceive and hide from the taxpayers. Citizens should not have to continue to foot the bill for his salary while he does so.”

As the only member from Arizona on the committee for Oversight and Government Reform, Congressman Gosar has been a leading advocate, demanding answers and justice, for the victims of this botched operation. Currently his resolution (H. Res. 490) of “No Confidence” in Attorney General Holder has 112 cosponsors.
