Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar (R-AZ) released the following statement after the House passed the “No More Solyndras” Act (H.R. 6213), which effectively phases out the Department of Energy’s loan guarantee program and protects taxpayer’s from bearing the costs of failed loan guarantees.

This legislation was drafted as a response to the 2009 Solyndra solar-plant manufacturer that received a $535 million dollar loan guarantee in stimulus money, but then went bankrupt. |
