Paul Gosar Announces Grand Opening of Kingman Office and Press Conference on Downwinders Legislation Congressman Paul Gosar, DDS (AZ-04) announced the grand opening of his district office in Kingman on Friday, March 1, 2013. The opening is an opportunity for citizens to meet the Congressman, seek help with veterans’ services and other federal agencies, and explore the new office. Following the grand opening, Rep. Gosar will hold a press conference, at the same location, on his legislation to seek compensation and recognition of Mohave county residents suffering from weapons testing radiation. The Congressman will outline his bill to protect the Mohave county residents, known as “downwinders,” who may suffer from radiation poisoning from nuclear tests conducted in the 1950’s and early 60’s. County Supervisors Gary Watson, Joy Brotherton and representatives of the Downwinders of Mohave County organization among others will be in attendance.
