The first hearing in the debate over the use of taxpayer money to fund Planned Parenthood began today in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. During the meeting, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards fielded questions from the committee, including Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar. During his questioning on why there is a need for Planned Parenthood clinics while other small privately owned health centers provide similar services, the conversation became heated.
