Gosar renews pledge not to raise any taxes

President Obama's jobs bill (which included added taxes on millionaires) was blocked in the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. Republican House Speaker John Boehner had said tax increases anywhere were "off the table" when it came to decisions of the committee appointed to reduce the federal debt. U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Doney Park, was also aligned with Boehner on the issue of new taxes, which he pledged to avoid raising and to cut when campaigning last year."Raising taxes in the middle of a recession is the last thing we should do. I agree with President Obama's statements in 2009 -- 'Normally, you don't raise taxes in a recession -- which is why we haven't. And why we instead cut taxes."…
