It’s Time to Audit Ukraine Spending
Inquiring minds want to know, where did $70 billion in American taxpayer dollars go? That’s right, as noted in last week’s newsletter, Joe Biden and Congress have wasted nearly $70 billion American taxpayer dollars funding a proxy war in Ukraine and now Biden wants another $38 billion! (Click here if you missed last week’s newsletter!). The American people deserve to know where all that money went.
I recently joined a group of House Republicans and introduced H. Res. 1482, a resolution to audit the funds appropriated by Congress to Ukraine. This important resolution demands that Joe Biden, along with the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State, provide the House of Representatives copies of all documents and any financial statements detailing purchases, recipients, and government expenditures related to congressionally appropriated funds given to Ukraine within 14 days. We should not send another dime to Ukraine and we should audit the money already sent there. I’ll keep you updated.
Speaking of Ukraine…
I’m sure you’ve all been following the sudden collapse of the cryptocurrency firm, FTX. FTX’s founder and democrat megadonor, Sam Bankman-Fried, contributed $38 million to democrat candidates, including Joe Biden. SBF, as he likes to be referred to, is the second biggest democrat donor behind only George Soros.
Multiple news reports surfaced this week alleging that FTX partnered with Ukraine to process donations to their war efforts. The Post Millennial reports: “Ukraine partnered with FTX as the Biden administration funneled funds to the invaded nation, and FTX then made massive donations to democrats in the U.S.” I encourage you to read the full article here.
If true, this is called money laundering and Congress needs to fully and transparently investigate this scandal.
Gosar Sponsors Legislation Making Tax Cuts Permanent
I recently cosponsored H.R. 8913, important legislation to make permanent the tax cuts for individuals and small businesses originally enacted by President Trump as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. Without Congressional action, 23 different provisions of the 2017 Republican tax law are set to expire after 2025. With Americans continuing to suffer under the weight of record-high Bidenflation and an uncertain economic future, we need to provide some much-needed relief and certainty to hardworking families and ensure these tax cuts do not expire.
Key components of H.R. 1893 include:
- Permanently lowers tax rates for individuals and families, allowing Americans at every income level to keep more of their hard-earned money
- Preserves the 20% deduction for small businesses, ensuring taxes won’t go up on Main Street businesses, which employ nearly half of the U.S. workforce
- Maintains the higher standard deduction, increasing the amount of tax-free income a middle-class family can earn
- Locks in the doubled child tax credit, further encouraging workforce participation
- Permanently simplifies the tax filing process, allowing 9 out of 10 Americans to get the full benefit of tax deductions without the headache of tracking receipts or itemizing
Arizona Attorney General Seeks Answers About 2022 Election in Maricopa County
On November 19th the Arizona Attorney General, through its Election Integrity Unit, sent a letter to counsel for the Maricopa County legal division seeking information and answers about the variety of malfunctions that occurred in over 25% of the polling centers. A copy of the letter is here. The Attorney General is right to seek the truth and get facts pertaining to this mishandled election. Maricopa County officials not just embarrassed Arizona with its clownery and inability to run a simple election, their incompetence could have cost candidates thousands of votes. Kudos to the Attorney General for looking into this misfeasance.
Should Republicans Remove Adam Schiff, Ilhan Omar and Eric Swalwell from House Committees?
Recently, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy stated that the House will consider removing three democrats from all committees due to their unfitness for office. For example, Eric Swalwell has been affiliated with a Chinese spy but still sits on the House Intelligence Committee. We don’t know how much confidential information the spy got from Swalwell, but Rep. McCarthy is prudent to stop any more intelligence leaks.
Rep. McCarthy has also stated that Adam Schiff should be removed from the same committee because of his participation in the Russia hoax. It is inappropriate for a member of Congress to willfully engage in lies, deception and falsehoods and use government resources to persecute political enemies. For these reasons, Mr. Schiff is being considered for removal.
Finally, Ilhan Omar has engaged in vile anti-Semitic and racist behavior and affiliates herself with the same type of people. It is unbecoming a member of Congress to engage in hate speech and anti-semitism. For her unethical misconduct she is being considered for removal.
Send me a letter with any other democrats you think should be removed from committees for their misbehavior, hate speech or racism and I will let Rep. McCarthy know.
Gosar Attends Laughlin Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony
I recently had the privilege to attend the Laughlin Chamber’s 25th Annual Community Achievement Awards Ceremony. I particularly wanted to acknowledge Bullhead City Mayor Tom Brady for being awarded the Citizen of the Year. Congratulations to all the deserving recipients! We appreciate your service and leadership in our community.

You know I love hearing from you! As November nears its end, I received nearly 5,000 letters this month! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Here is a sampling of some the letters I received:
Ermalinda C. from Fort Mohave write:
Please don’t let our county certify our elections. Something went terribly wrong. Can’t prove it be we all know somebody did something. Thank you for your leadership.
Dear Ermalinda, the Maricopa County officials in charge of the election have already admitted that 25% of the tabulation machines failed and were down most of Election Day at dozens of polling centers. Thus, there is “proof” by their own admission. In addition, there were what are called “roving lawyers” who visited polling locations. One such lawyer submitted a report documenting over 60% of the tabulation machines failing on Election Day, as well as “chaos” and confusion at polling sites. He further documented long lines, many over two hours long, that lead to thousands of voters becoming discouraged and giving up. In short, there is no shortage of evidence that the county committed gross negligence in its Election Day operations that clearly disenfranchised voters in Maricopa County.
Currently Kari Lake is collecting affidavits from impacted voters presumably to present to a court asking for the election in Maricopa County to be re-done.
Every vote should count. Every voter matters. The incompetence of the Maricopa County election officials resulted in the disenfranchisement of thousands of voters. It does not matter if they were all Republican or a mixture. Every vote matters. The only fair and logical thing to do is to hold a new election in Maricopa and do it right. Otherwise, the election is tainted, and the result cannot be certified as legitimate.

I have heard and read about the priority of the new House is to investigate Hunter Biden and the Biden Family. Although I heartily agree that this needs to be done as these criminals need to be brought to justice, however, as the first order of business, I find this to be irresponsible. I think fixing the border, opening the pipeline, lowering inflation, should take precedent over spending time and wasting money on investigating these people. Let's focus on the people of this country and hardships that this administration has created and fix it, and then go after these people.
Dear Mark, I have not seen the order of business for next session, but rest assured with 222 members in the majority there is enough horse power to pass legislation restoring the Keystone Pipeline, cut spending (to address inflation), lowering taxes (to address inflation), defunding war spending in Ukraine (to address inflation) and eliminate taxes on social security benefits (to address inflation)—and form a committee to investigate the corruption of our highest officials. It is apparent that Ukraine has been bribing members of the Biden family. It is further apparent that Ukraine may have been laundering U.S. tax money sent as “aid” by “investing” that money in a company called FTX that then became the second largest donor to democrats. This needs investigation and prosecution. Further, it is also apparent that the Department of Justice has been politicized and is acting as a legal arm of the democrat party, including opening harassing and fraudulent investigations into President Trump dating back to the Russia hoax of 2015. There is enough staff and committee structure to address all of these important issues, and I plan to help out in all of this. I will keep you updated Mark, and I agree that we have priorities to address in our economy from all the harm the Biden regime has inflicted on Americans. That will remain my priority as well.

Dr. Jack - Andy Biggs is probably the nicest, most genuine man you will ever meet. I am proud to be his colleague and call him my friend. He loves this country as much as any patriot ever has. By a fighting for the Constitution, by fighting for the rule of law, by fighting for sane policies and against racism, sexual abuse of minors and divisive tribalism, Andy Biggs is neither “mean” or “nasty.” If you, doctor, support those things he fights against perhaps you are the nasty one.

I am well aware as I write this that my comments will have no impact on the twaddle you send out to Arizonans. It is clear that no matter the facts you will just keep espousing lies and nonsense that appeals to the minority. Your party did a recount of the the 2020 election, sharing out citizens private information. Your own audit found NO WIDESPREAD FRAUD, yet you keep saying our elections are flawed. If this election was fraudulent I would like you to please launch and investigation into how Andy Biggs got reelected and all the GOP candidates. Surely if the elections are rigged then we need to investigate all election results. Your anti Ukraine pro-Russia stance is both dangerous and alarming. Reagan fought and ended a cold war yet here you are supporting Communism. You always post comments saying Democrats are communists or socialists, yet you would aid the very father of communism. This idea that we need to take money from Ukraine to protect our own borders is asinine, we need to protect all borders and America is not an island we are the leaders of the free world and defending Ukraine is defending America. Even you understand this yet you clearly believe that Russia is a better ally and I wish to turn America into a fascist communism regime like in Russia. If you can support overthrowing your own government why should we be surprised you support a Russian dictators invasion of a sovereign nation. I keep hoping you will grow up, and support the values the GOP stood for over decades. But you choose to espouse childlike nonsense and lead the party astray. I guess a long as it keeps you in power. You have no courage or back bone to stand for what is right. Your fear of losing your seat makes you dangerous as you no longer care about Arizona or America just self-serving. I hope God shows you the error of your ways.
Amanda—wow! There is a lot of hate, misinformation and just confused thinking in your rambling letter. I decided not to edit it because this stream of conscious non-sense educates the reader to your infantile perspective. As for the 2020 election, the people experienced the unusual discrepancies in real time. Candidates with vote leads of hundreds of thousands of votes at midnight had them switched at 4:00 AM. People saw this. I don’t have to inform them of this as they experienced it. The democrats have claimed the 2000 election, 2004 election, and the 2016 election were fraudulent and “stolen.” But somehow, you want everyone to believe the 2020 election was the fairest election in our history. Sorry, Amanda, the real world doesn’t work that way.

As for Ukraine know this: I have not voted for one penny to this corrupt country. And in case you haven’t read about Russia since 1992, it is not a “communist” country anymore and hasn’t been for two generations. Ukraine, on the other hand…has banned all opposition parties and elections. Ukraine supports Nazis. I don’t mean the type of “nazi” the left fantasizes about when they call everyone they disagree with a “nazi.” Nope, Ukraine literally supports Nazis who display Nazi symbolism and embrace Nazi ideology. I have said this many times: our own borders are open. Over five million illegal aliens have invaded our country since February 2021. There are approximately 40 million illegal aliens in our country. Why would I vote to spend billions of dollars to defend Ukraine’s borders when our country is under invasion? Just a few years ago the left said we couldn’t not afford even $5 billion for our own border wall. Now suddenly we have $80 billion or more for Ukraine? This is non-sense and a good example of America Last.
America is my first and only priority. Ukraine is a bad neighbor to Russia and was responsible for 14,000 civilian Russian deaths between 2014 and the 2022 military intervention. In short, Ukraine essentially started the war with Russia and it is no concern of ours how Russia defends its borders.
