Over the past few weeks, I have driven around the district visiting with small business owners, speaking with local law enforcement and hearing from constituents. I kicked off the month of October at the Arizona Manufacturing Summit discussing our booming economy and the significant growth in Arizona's manufacturing sector. This past week, I visited at Eagle Motorcycle with Joe and Michelle Kuenen in Bullhead City. Earlier this month, I met with Tonto Forest Fuels Team and discussed the work they are doing to keep our forest healthy. In addition, I had the privilege of recognizing Detective Matt Hepperle for his top notch Detective skills and amazing team work with the Prescott Valley Police Department. Town Hall In Bullhead City
We had a great turnout for our town hall in Bullhead City this week. We discussed how Republican pro-growth policies are working to rebuild our Main Streets and put more money back in the pockets of Arizonans.I appreciate everyone who took time to ask questions and share their comments and concerns. Stopping the Invasion
As the number of migrants grows by the thousands it's becoming even more imperative that we secure our border at all cost. Since open border Democrats refuse to work with Republicans to build the wall, it's up to our military to protect our border from the most recent invasion. This week, I joined my colleagues in introducing legislation that will provide a pathway to build the wall. This is one of the many efforts I have supported in order to secure our border.

Economy Growing Faster Than Expected
Under Republican leadership our economy is booming. In the latest report, our economy grew at a 3.5 percent pace in the third quarter, which was faster than economists expected. Republicans passed the biggest gross tax cuts and reform in American history, resulting in 6+ million Americans now enjoying new bonuses, better jobs, and bigger paychecks. Arizona has demonstrated strong economic growth during the past year, with steady income and wage gains. Household median income in Arizona has grown substantially, increasing over 7 percent between 2016 and 2017, to $61,125. The unemployment rate in Arizona has fallen to a new post-recession low of 4.6 percent. The last thing we need to do right now is to move our economy backwards.
