Standing Strong Against Socialism
The most prosperous, most generous, and successful nation in history is being undermined daily by Democrats. Earlier this week, I spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and warned about the attack on our institutions, constitution and our republic by the Left in Congress. We are at a serious crossroads. Republicans have chosen the constitution that empowered individuals.The Left is choosing victimization, socialism, and the power of the state.

Green New Deal Press Conference
This week, I joined members of the Western Caucus and subject matter experts to provide the first in-depth review of the Green New Deal. The socialist Green New Deal attempts to provide education, health care and housing to all. The Mercatus Center estimates that the costs of the single-payer health care provision alone would cost $32 trillion in the first 10 years. The Green New Deal is an alarmist pipe dream that seeks to fundamentally “transform America” without a blueprint.

Our National Debt Is A Threat To Our National Security
I joined my conservative members of Congress and called on the House and Senate to recognize America’s $22 trillion national debt as a security crisis. Due to Congress’ reckless spending habits, America is heading toward a catastrophic event that will wipe out pensions and retirement benefits. If we keep on this destructive path, Congress will be forced to slash eligibility for social security and reduce benefits that Americans have been paying for and counting on for years. We must put an end to this blind spending.

Arizona Land and Water Victories
After years of collaboration with stakeholders, landowners and other policymakers, I’m proud to have five of my bills included in the Natural Resources Management Act. This package provides common sense solutions to local challenges posed by the existence of federally-owned lands in states across the West. This package consolidates multiple checkerboards of land, returns control to the people on the ground, and increases multiple-use as well as economic development opportunities for several communities in Arizona.
