WATER, DESALINATION AND THE FUTURE OF ARIZONA
Arizona, like many Western states, has experienced years of drought conditions. While Arizona has an incredible dam and irrigation system that has brought life to the desert, we face a future that needs more water.
The lack of water potentially threatens our agricultural industry, our housing, our recreation and the ability of Arizonans to fully enjoy life here.
The United States has enough water to satisfy the needs of the entire country. It is a matter of utilizing technology to wisely divert the enormous amount of water this country is blessed with.
Together, government and the private sector can work to find the solutions that advance policies that help Arizonans and all Americans access this most precious resource.
