A new year and Joe Biden’s open border polices have made the crisis along our southern border worse. For the eleventh straight month, more than 150,000 lawbreakers were apprehended, processed and escorted into the United States with the idea that they will remain here as long as they want. Tens of thousands escaped without detection into our country. This is the worst January in twenty years. Along with illegal aliens comes more crime and more deadly drugs, including over 830 pounds of fentanyl seized in January. All across the country, from Arizona, Texas to Washington, DC, violent crime caused by illegal immigrants is on the rise. Yet again, Mr. Biden is nowhere to be found. He’s more concerned with the border in Ukraine than our own damn border with Mexico. Arizona should immediately deploy the National Guard and all necessary state law enforcement to seal the border, enforce the immigration laws and send these illegal alien criminals back.

A very troubling recent court filing made by Special Counsel John Durham conclusively shows that the Hillary Clinton campaign paid a tech company to infiltrate Donald Trump. That tech company spied on him during the 2016 campaign and continued to spy on him while he was the sitting President to bring fake information to the Department of Justice to push the debunked and baseless Russia collusion hoax.
If you haven’t been following this closely, let me quickly bring you up to speed: John Durham was appointed as the Special Counsel by Attorney General Bill Barr back in 2020 to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia hoax. Mr. Durham's court filings explain how a Clinton campaign lawyer was working with an unnamed “Tech Executive” who had access to Donald Trump’s internet data. The “Tech Executive” then tasked researchers to mine the data to find dirt on Trump that links him to Russia.
In other words, a “Tech Executive” worked for a company that had a government contract to access and maintain White House servers. They used this access to literally spy on President Trump's web traffic while he was in the White House. Here’s what you need to understand: Hillary was spying on the sitting President of the United States in order to undermine and unseat him.
This goes well beyond Watergate and is the biggest political scandal in American history. No surprise here: as the mounting evidence against Hillary Clinton grows, the fake news continues to cover for her and avoids real journalism. Congress must investigate this scandal and any and all individuals involved in this effort to spy on President Trump must be prosecuted.

This last week was a district work period, as Congress is thankfully not in Washington, D.C., aka the Swamp. My amazing staff and I had the pleasure of travelling throughout the district meeting many constituents, attending town halls and touring businesses. The American people are tired of endless U.S. military involvement in overseas wars, particularly when there is zero national security interest. It is imperative that members of Congress, as representatives of the American people, exercise its constitutionally-granted war powers authorities to oversee and authorize any and all overseas military actions.
This week, I joined a bipartisan group of members of Congress in sending a letter to Mr. Biden reaffirming the role of Congress and demanding his administration respect the separation of powers and Congress’s constitutional war powers authority by obtaining Congressional authorization should he believe the events in Ukraine and Russia threaten the security of the United States and enters another winless war. Only the People’s representatives should decide whether the loss of life and treasure merits war, and only after a thorough review of all evidence and healthy debate on the value of send our troops into another disaster.

The images of Canadian truckers being trampled on by police-mounted horses, brutalized for simply honking their horns and being arrested for peacefully participating in the Freedom Convoy are deeply disturbing. These are not insurrectionists, white-supremacists or racists as Dictator Trudeau, the media, Big Tech and Big Pharma have accused them of being. These are patriots, many that have gotten the vaccine by the way, who are fed up with the lockdowns, closures and mandates. Yes, the convoy is being organized by truckers. But it’s much bigger than one person or one group. It’s a message of opposition to life under constant government control and they are no longer willing to be ignored. They are rightfully concerned that things will never get back to normal, and for that they are be abused by their government. Ring familiar?
There is no justification to use force against the truckers and working class-Canadians fighting for their freedom and the ability to work. I stand in solidarity with the truckers and all those supporting their efforts. This week, I joined House Republicans in a letter underscoring how these policies are hurting our nation and advocating that Mr. Biden work with Dictator Trudeau to end border vaccine mandates.

I don’t often sign pledges as my pledge is to the Constitution of the United States and the flag. However, this week, the American Principle’s Project launched the Big Families Pledge for supporting pro-family policies that I felt merited my support. The family and the basics of responsibility and morality of family life are under assault from the Left’s constant attack on the unborn, nuclear family, and more. This pledge is a commitment to defend girls’ sports by prohibiting biological males from participating, protecting children from experimental gender transition procedures, protecting kids from the harmful teachings of Critical Racing Theory, safeguarding children from pornography, and protecting life from conception to natural death. I already sponsor and cosponsor legislation to achieve these goals, so I was proud to join this pledge.

Three-year-old Keira has a fatal disease. Though cutting-edge, personalized gene therapy was available, she couldn’t access it in the U.S. because it doesn’t fit within the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) outdated clinical trial system. But without it, Keira had little chance of surviving her childhood.
Her story underscores the need for Goldwater’s Right to Try for Individualized Treatments legislation, a reform that we’re working to pass in states across the country. This law protects patients’ right to try potentially life-saving treatments, Keira’s mom, Kendra Riley, writes in the Arizona Capitol Times.
Keira was able to access the treatment she needed—but her family had to move to Italy to get it. “Families shouldn’t have to travel overseas to save their children’s lives,” Kendra says. “Nor should they be sent home to watch their children die, even though promising treatment options exist. That’s why we need the Right to Try for Individualized Treatments.”

We joined the social platform gab.com a few months ago and it has been one of our best decisions. We know it's only a matter of time before big tech cancels everyone that doesn't toe their line so we are making arrangements ahead of time. Unlike some of the other new social networking platforms (and there are some great ones) gab is the only one that has its own servers, completely insulating it from big tech cancel culture. The Capitol must reopen to the American people. Even the tyrannical regime ruling over the city of Washington, D.C. is rescinding vaccine proof and mask mandates. The Senate has no mandates, yet Speaker Pelosi is virtue signaling with mask mandates and then penalizing those who do not comply. Congressman Andy Biggs and I sent a letter calling on the Speaker to reopen to the Capitol to the People and lift the mask mandates.
Mr. Biden’s nominees continue to include Far Left radicals in direct opposition to the moderate mandate he claimed to run on. Now he has nominated an official to oversee intellectual property and patents who has conflicts of interest with most Big Tech corporations. In response, I sent a letter to Senate leadership encouraging rejection of Kathi Vidal nomination.
