Congressman Gosar Invites 9th Congressional District Highschoolers to Participate in the 2023 Congressional Art Competition
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Since the Artistic Discovery competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.
The first-place winning work will be displayed for one year on the wall in the walkway from Cannon House Office Building to the U.S. Capitol. There is also an annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. for the first-place winner.
The Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity to encourage artistic talent from Arizona and across the country.
I cordially invite you participate.
