Washington, D.C. -- Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), issued the following statement inviting high school students in Arizona’s Ninth Congressional District to participate in the 2024 Congressional Art Competition:

“Do you have some amazing art skills and want to show off your talent?  If so, I invite you to participate in the upcoming 2024 Congressional Art Competition.

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.  Since the Artistic Discovery competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.

The first-place winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the United States Capitol.  The Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity to encourage and showcase the incredibly talented high school artists from Arizona,” concluded Congressman Gosar.
