This week, I met with law enforcement, including Pinal County Sheriffs Office's Sheriff Lamb to discuss the importance of securing our border to keep our communities safe.

Fighting To Keep Taxes Lower

American families work hard. The government already takes too much money from our hard-working citizens. From sales tax to property tax to fees to penalties and then income tax, American families pay a heavy price. It is your money. It belongs in your pocket to spend as you deem fit. This week, I was proud to receive the highest score from the Arizona delegation for fighting to keep taxes low by the National Taxpayers Union. I ranked the third highest in Congress as well.

Supporting Economic Growth

This week I introduced H.R.6739, the Embry-Riddle Tri-City Land Exchange Completion Act. This common sense, bipartisan bill seeks to support the continued growth and development of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the local community. The legislation will remove the outdated reversionary clause from a 16-acre parcel of vacant land that is located adjacent to their campus at the NEC of Willow Creek Road and Heritage Park Road in Prescott, Arizona.

Booming Economy

Our economy is booming thanks to sound, pro-growth policies that are focused on the priorities of hardworking Americans across the country. Last month our economy added 201,000 jobs. In addition, hourly earnings jumped up by 2.9 percent.
