Washington, D.C. - Representative Paul Gosar, DDS (AZ-04) issued the following statement in response to passage of S. 4104, the Hualapai Tribe Water Rights Settlement Act of 2022.
“I am very pleased to announce passage of important legislation that will ratify the Hualapai Tribe’s Colorado River water settlement agreement, which will deliver approximately 4,000 acre-feet of water per year to the Tribe.
Additionally, this bill will serve the critical needs of the Tribal population, provide for economic opportunities, and provide long-term water resources for members of the Hualapai community,” concluded Congressman Gosar.
