Gosar Votes to Uphold 2A Rights
This week, I voted to nullify a new rule issued by Joe Biden’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives banning stabilizing pistol braces. The latest Biden regime gun grab effort is the prohibition on the usage of legally purchased and ATF-approved pistol braces.
This rule, which went into effect June 1, is patently unconstitutional – the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. This rule infringes on this important right. I cannot allow it. The Constitution will not allow it.

Gosar Votes to Save Gas Stoves
Also this week, I joined Republicans to pass H.R.1640, the Save Our Gas Stoves Act and H.R.1615, the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act. Together, these two bills prevent radical environmentalist bureaucrats from imposing restrictive rules making gas stoves, ovens, and ranges unavailable to Americans. Gas appliances are preferred by 40% of Americans and cost ten to thirty percent less to operate than those powered electricity. Natural gas is a safe, reliable and affordable energy source for millions of Americans and more than 4.1 million jobs are connected to the natural gas industry. Forcing Americans to switch to more expensive electric stoves is straight up foolish and tyrannical.
Gosar Introduces Legislation Terminating Libya and Yemen National Emergencies
President Obama declared national emergencies pertaining to Yeman and Libya more than a decade ago and Congress has never voted to review the legitimacy of these emergency declarations.
There are currently 41 extended national emergencies that are subject to periodic Congressional review and periodic presidential reporting requirements, the oldest dating back to 1979. I have been reviewing these so-called emergencies, and it has become clear that many do not constitute emergencies at all, much less extended emergencies.
While national emergency declarations are meant to focus on protecting the well-being and safety of Americans, without proper congressional oversight, the additional authorities provided to the president can lead to the expansion of executive power and abuse. The law governing national emergency declarations envisions that they be short-lasting and requiring Congressional review and oversight.
The national emergency related to Libya continues to cite Muammar Gaddafi as the reason for the declaration, even though Gaddafi has been dead for almost 12 years.
The national emergency related to Yemen blocks the donations of food, clothing and medicine intended to relieve the human suffering by the people of Yemen. Nearly 80 percent of the people in Yemen need treatment for malnutrition. 20 million lack access to adequate health care. Meanwhile, because of this national emergency declaration, the United States is unable to provide necessary food shipments and medical supplies that would have an immediate impact on the lives of those living in Yemen.
It appears that these "national emergencies" are used as a pretext to get our military involved in Yemen, Libya and other places and to do so without Congressional approval as required by the Constitution.

Gosar Reviews Debt Milestone: This is Unsustainable
This week it was announced our national debt reached $32 trillion. This epic milestone is a dark day and a stark reminder. We must reduce spending. The people are already severely taxed. The only way to reduce our debt is to reduce spending. That is one reason why I voted against increasing the debt ceiling. Every American family has to live within a budget, so should the federal government.
$32 trillion is so much money we cannot conceptualize the amount. The jump from a million to a billion to a trillion are all exponential.
For example:
One million seconds is about 11 days.
One billion seconds is roughly 31.5 years.
One trillion seconds is equal to about 31,710 years.
So a trillion seconds puts us well before Noah, Moses and Jesus and before the last ice age.
Except now go back 32 trillion seconds.
I don’t know if this helps explain how much money $32 trillion is but let’s just say we are broke and heading for disaster.
It is unconscionable to create this massive debt. We are placing a burden on our children and their children. A burden that will likely result in a catastrophic failure of our economy. The question is not if we have a collapse, but when.
I will continue to vote to cut spending. We can start with getting out of Ukraine and stop the endless spending of hundreds of billions on endless wars. The military should be focused on protecting our borders instead of being sent around the world on fake missions that do more harm than good. At all costs we must preserve social security programs. Agencies like the ATF, EPA and other pointless agencies can be cut dramatically to shore up social security.
June is National Dairy Month
My congressional district is chock full of farms, including dairies. You like ice cream? Butter? Ghee? Milk? Half and Half? And the many foods prepared with milk? Then thank a dairy farmer.
In my congressional district we have some of the best, if not the very best, dairy farms that supply our stores with milk for you and your family.
Courtesy of the Farm Bureau, here are some dairy facts I bet you didn’t know:
- The two most common dairy breeds are the Holstein and Jersey in Arizona. Jersey cows have a higher fat content. Holstein is the most common breed and is known for its black-and-white spots.
- On average, dairy farmers usually aim for their heifers to become pregnant at around 15 months of age so that they give birth when they are around two years old. A cow must be in lactation to give milk.
- Milk production per cow averages approximately 24,000 pounds per year, and they milk 305 days per year. This is approximately 75 pounds daily. A cow will produce milk for five to seven years. That’s a lot of milk per cow.
- In general, a typical cow needs 100 pounds each day of a combination of hay, grain, silage and proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Dairy farms contract with nutritionists to prescribe just the right diet. Dairy farms are daily managing manure including cleaning their pens.
- Farmers recycle manure for compost and other purposes. Some even employ methane digesters that can produce methane gas to generate electricity.
- United Dairymen of Arizona is a Coop owned by the family dairies that pasteurize and process the milk.
- Pasteurization is the process in which packaged and non-packaged foods are treated with heat (less than 100 degrees Celsius) to eliminate pathogens and extend shelf-life.
- The amount of fat is the only difference between whole, two percent, and skim milk. Half the calories in whole milk come from fat and one-third of the calories in two percent milk come from fat.
- Only one percent milk and skim milk are truly low-fat milk.
Bonus Fact: 97% of the milk sold in our Arizona grocery stores comes from Arizona’s family dairies. We have our well-known family local brands such as Danzeisen Dairy and Shamrock Dairy.

Look at President Trump's statement below. Maybe he is reading this newsletter because it's practically the same as what I've been saying. Smart Americans aren't fooled by the propaganda about Ukraine. That corrupt dictatorship is not our ally and Russia is not our enemy.
CCP China or Russia? Who is our real enemy?
I am a man of peace. I don’t believe we should be at war with any country if we can avoid it. I have opposed our endless wars in the Middle East and Afghanistan. We had no legitimate business in Iraq or Afghanistan. We have no business in Syria. And we really have no business in Ukraine.
We should be protecting our own border. Over six million illegal aliens have been escorted into our country by Joe Biden, Secretary Mayorkas and their accomplices in just two and half years.
China, however, under the direction of the communist party (CCP) poses a different issue. The CCP actively engages in commercial espionage against our companies. The CCP allows fentanyl to leave its country and sends it to Mexico where it is then walked or driven into our country once the cartels add value to the drugs. Over 100,000 Americans die each year since 2020 because of CCP Chinese fentanyl.
CCP China, either by itself or in concert with American researchers, created a lethal Covid-19 virus that killed millions globally. In short, there is only one country in the world right now that has targeted Americans and has successfully caused the death of millions. And that is the CCP China.
We need to close our borders to stop CCP Chinese fentanyl. We also need to close all labs dabbling in gain of function research and we need to hold the CCP accountable for what it is doing.

Mr. Gosar. I just wanted you to know that I am 100% in favor of the indictment of former President Donald Trump. I do hope that justice department continues to investigate January 6 the attack on our capital and hold you responsible. Also, you’re a disgrace to this country.
John—like most democrats, you have happily and enthusiastically embraced fascism. Arrest political opponents? Check. Censor opposing views? Check. The disgrace to this country is looking directly at you in the mirror.

You are one of a small minority of Representatives that are fighting against this corrupt and despicable administration, and I want to thank you and encourage you to continue the good fight. I recently received several informational notices regarding your representative activities and could not be prouder of the job you are doing. David. Well said. The display of a flag that celebrates sexual depravity is immoral and an insult to every patriot. The whole concept of “pride” month is strange. There is nothing to be proud of by being gay. Or by being straight. There is no accomplishment in your sexual preferences. You can be proud of accomplishments like getting good grades, building a house, earning a promotion etc. But celebrating a month of deviancy is not an accomplishment. Flying a flag that represents pedophilia, rampant promiscuity and child grooming should not be allowed on federal properties. We have a national flag: Old Glory.
