December Illegal Border Crossings Shatter All Previous Records

This week it was reported that 302,000 illegals crossed into the United States last December - the highest single month ever.  Biden’s open southern border is a gateway for illicit deadly drugs and lawbreakers, including violent criminals and terrorists.  Since taking office, Biden has welcomed more than 10 million illegal aliens into our country, including 293 terrorists.  Here in Arizona, a citizen was recently shot 16 times by Mexican gang members while traveling along the southern border to visit his son on Christmas eve.  According to news reports, the shooting was the second time an American was caught in the middle of violence in the last month. 

Joe Biden has worked closely with a variety of international leftist groups, fake charities and other NGOs known to have engaged in human trafficking. The cartels and traffickers deliver their product to the border, where Joe Biden and Mayorkas use the border patrol to welcome them, give them shelter and lodging, and then, all using taxpayer money, finish the human trafficking by delivering the people to the city of their choice.  Once at a city of their choosing, taxpayer money is used to house the illegal aliens, feed them, provide health care, help obtain jobs and enroll their children into our schools.  In short, this is a deliberate act to sabotage our country.  

Why, you ask?  One, cheap labor.  Millions of illegal aliens seeking work keeps wages low and increases poverty.  Two, voting demographics.  Biden and his fellow leftists will seek amnesty for the 40 million illegals hoping 75% will register as democrats.  Based on the Reagan 1986 amnesty, this is likely correct. 

Meanwhile, Secretary Mayorkas appeared this week on Fox News and lied or otherwise avoided answering questions.  However, he admitted that 70% or more illegal aliens are being released into our communities.  It’s probably much closer to 100%, if truth were to be told.  Let’s be honest, no one is getting deported and once processed and released, the illegal aliens are not given a date to appear in court until 2035!  Next week Congress returns to Washington, D.C. and the first order of business will be the impeachment proceedings against Secretary Mayorkas.  Long overdue in my opinion.  There are between 40 and 50 million illegal aliens living in the United States at this time.  They will consume hundreds of billions in taxpayer resources, including health care, education, infrastructure, housing and food stamps.  They have already, and will continue, to cause homelessness and crime as veterans and other American’s are evicted to make room for them.  They will continue to obtain jobs—illegally—and keep wages low inflicting grinding poverty on Americans. 

House to Vote to Hold Hunter Biden in Contempt of Congress

Also next week, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee on which I serve will markup a resolution to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress after he refused to comply with subpoenas to appear before a congressional deposition last month.  Faithful Gosar Newsletters readers will recall I wrote extensively about Hunter’s stunt here.  On a side note, it turns out that Joe Biden had advanced awareness that Hunter would defy the subpoenas.  Read more about this developing story below.  Hunter Biden broke the law by refusing to appear before the committee to answer questions regarding the mounting evidence concerning Joe Biden’s corruption and influence peddling schemes.  By the way, complying with a Congressional subpoena is nothing new.  In fact, in 2022 democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin noted “if subpoenaed, you show up and assert any privilege you think applies to a specific question but you can’t blow off the proceeding.”  Raskin added, “the lesson is: if you get a subpoena to go before Congress, you have a legal responsibility to go.”  Apparently, this law does not apply if you are democrat.

Joe Biden Obstructs Hunter Biden’s Cooperation with Impeachment Inquiry

Speaking of subpoenas, add obstruction of justice to the list of impeachable offenses committed by Joe Biden.  As I previously noted, Hunter Biden recently decided to ignore a legally issued subpoena to appear before congress last month to answer questions related his role in the investigation of the Biden family’s widespread corruption and abuse of power.  It turns out that Joe Biden was aware in advance that Hunter Biden would knowingly defy the subpoena and sought to prevent the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s proceedings by dissuading his son from complying with the subpoena.  Specifically, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre noted that “Biden was aware in advance that his son, Hunter Biden, would knowingly defy two congressional subpoenas.” That’s called conspiracy to obstruct a proceeding of Congress and it is illegal and constitutes yet another impeachable offense.

National Debt hits $34,000,000,000,000

This week, the Treasury Department announced that the United States national debt topped $34 trillion dollars.  Just three short months ago the debt topped $33 trillion.  To put that into perspective, $34 trillion is roughly the value of the economies of China, Germany, Japan, India and the U.K. combined.  If every American household contributed $1,000 every month it would take 22 years to pay down the national debt and that assumes it doesn’t continue to increase.  The ballooning national debt should be troubling to every American.  Yet Biden and a too many in Congress voted last May to raise the debt limit.  It also lead to the demise of former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy.  I voted against it and noted at the time that continually raising the debt ceiling without addressing government spending is the reason for today’s historically high inflation and anemic economy.  Families and small businesses in my district are suffering.  Congress must address long-term fiscal imbalances by drastically reducing unnecessary and wasteful spending and enact policies that promote growth while tackling our out-of-control debt.

There were many opportunities last year to cut spending.  For example, there was an amendment that I voted for, that would have cut all spending by 1%.  A mere 1%.  But it failed.  Dozens and dozens of so-called Republicans joined with democrats to kill it.  If we can’t cut spending by a mere 1%, what chance is there to lower this debt?  Not only did all the democrats and dozens of republicans refuse to reduce spending, they voted to spend billions in Ukraine and elsewhere.  To be candid, we need a whole new group of Republicans in Congress if we are going to do anything about this.

I would ask how the Republican Communist Caucus is doing, but from your recent useless trip to the border with House Speaker Johnson, I see you're continuing to try to make the border issue a game-changer for budget negotiations. Meanwhile, Putin is attacking Ukraine like never before. So, is the Kremlin one of your major donors? You seem to be supporting authoritarian Putin so the money must be coming from somewhere. Too bad you and your fellow Communist Caucus members can keep leading your Maga following nowhere, but we'll see if you succeed in your selfish and hypocritical ways.  Is what's good for the MAGA faithful really good for our country and democracy in general?

William, put down the spiked eggnog because you’re talking crazy.  First, the “Communist Caucus” exists in Congress, and it is called the Progressive Caucus, and it is the most influential caucus among the democrats. 

Second, as we speak, democrats are holding Americans hostage and extorting them by saying they will support funding for border security only if billions more are sent to Ukraine.  In other words, the democrats are holding our own border security hostage in order to extort money for Ukraine’s border.  Nice group of people there.  

Third, as I have pointed out at length, the Ukrainian militia murdered over 14,000 Russians between 2014 and 2022.  Russia was forced to put a stop to the bloodshed and entered Ukraine to push them back and de-Nazify the Ukrainian militias, many of which are card carrying Hitler loving Nazis.  William, you are free to support Nazis all you want, but I never will.  And you can look at all my donors, it is a public record – not one penny from Russia.  Under law, only U.S. citizens can donate to a member of Congress.  

Fourth, the MAGA agenda created the most prosperous economy in our lifetimes between 2017 and 2020.  We also had four years without new wars and for four beautiful years the international community respected us,  So yes, the MAGA agenda has proven itself to be the best agenda for America.   The last three years of Biden have been a domestic and foreign disaster.

How many U.S. tax dollars go to Harvard in the form of loans, grants, and other subsidies when the Harvard Endowment is worth BILLIONS?? This is a glaring problem and demands a legislative reform solution and immediate moratorium on all federal funding going to Harvard and any other institution that display anti-Semitism and blatant honor code violations and the ensuing coverups. What can be done to stop funding these bigoted, radicalized colleges with our tax dollars?

Terry, the antisemitic, anti-White and anti-Asian schools, who openly brag about being racist and discriminatory, need to be investigated.  No federal funds should go to Harvard, MIT and other racist universities.  The far left has taken over these universities and implemented Marxist policies that cannot be allowed and cannot be funded by our tax money.  These universities also covered up massive plagiarism and unethical conduct.  In Arizona, we have to keep a watchful eye on ASU and the University of Arizona.  Both universities have a history of censorship and antisemitism.   Lastly, we should make it illegal for these schools to accept foreign money.  China, Qatar and other countries pay millions of dollars to universities in order to spread propaganda.  This needs to end.

I am so over the illegals coming into this country. My tax dollars shouldn't be spent on food, transportation, and housing for illegals. Student loans: those people got a break and didn't have to make their loan payments during covid.  I didn't get a break, I still had to pay all my bills. And now Biden is forgiving student loans. Ukrainian war: Biden was against negotiations, so this is going to be the everlasting war? Why are we are paying for Ukrainian pensions? My IRA hasn't recovered.  I could keep going....
The Biden administration has shown me one thing, I am paying too much in taxes and you all in congress are letting him get away with it.

Christine, you are 100% correct.   The taxpaying Americans are getting screwed by Biden and the democrats.   They put America last, and that means you, me and families who work hard.   I can’t name one policy in the last three years adopted by the White House that has worked to help real Americans.  We have extremely high inflation, young adults cannot afford to start a family or buy a house, social Security is teetering on default and the democrats want more war, more money to pay pensions in Ukraine and to prop up that corrupt government.  The democrats censor opposing views, force untested and experimental vaccines, and persecute their political opponents using a corrupt DOJ and FBI.  If you have ever wondered what it would be like if the enemies of America took over, just look at the last three years.
