It was a very bad week for Joe Biden, and this is saying a lot given how badly things have been for the past 12 months. The latest Bidenflation numbers came out this week and showed that prices in December jumped to 7% from just one year ago, when President Trump was still in office. It has not been that high since 1982. December's inflation report is the latest sign that Joe Biden and House Democrats' out-of-control spending is only worsening our economic crisis as Americans are now making less while paying more for just about everything. Bidenflation is taxation, and it has gone up every month of Joe Biden's presidency. Let’s say you earn $40,000 a year. Because of Bidenflation, your salary is now worth $37,200. You can thank Joe Biden for the pay cut. Remember back in July, during a rare press conference appearance, when Joe Biden said the following with a straight face: “There’s nobody suggesting there’s unchecked inflation on the way. No serious economist." Oops…I’m starting to think Barak Obama might have been correct when he warned Americans to not “underestimate Joe’s ability to F (expletive) things up!”
Just how bad are things? Here are a few examples of price increases: - ⛽️ Gasoline: 50%
- 🚙 Used cars: 37%
- 🏡 Gas for homes: 24%
- 🥩 Meat/Fish/Eggs: 12.5%
- 🚗 New cars: 12%
- 🛒 Groceries overall: 6.3%
- 🔋 Electricity: 6%
At this point, Jimmy Carter would be an upgrade.

This past Saturday, President Trump came to my district and held a rally in Florence, Arizona. According to media reports, “Former President Donald J. Trump held a rally in Florence, Arizona, on Saturday, January 15, 2022 with an estimated attendance of 55,000.
I was there and I can tell you that traffic was backed up for miles. The Country Thunder venue was wall-to-wall people. There were families. Grandmothers. Parents. Young zoomers. Good people fighting to save America where there, including Kari Lake, Mark Finchem, Anthony Kern, Sonny Borrelli, Kelli Ward, Leo Biasuci, Andy Biggs, Debbie Lesko, Rodney Glassman and so many others. It was a great event full of love for America, the Constitution and President Trump.
I spoke at the event and remarked that "a storm is a’comin. We are going to take back DC and restore law and order, defeat the communist infiltrators and save America from the incompetence and evil actions of the current regime."

Some great news this week.
The United States Supreme Court issued a ruling blocking Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate for private businesses with 100 employees or more. The court ruled that the mandate was an “unconstitutional” overreach of power by Biden. We all knew this. This was a huge win for as many as 80 million American’s facing job termination for choosing not to get the jab.
I am proud to have joined over 200 Republican lawmakers in filing an amicus brief with the high court last week challenging the Biden administration’s rule.
The ruling was 6-3 with liberal Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, and Breyer dissenting. In blocking the mandate, Justice Gorsuch said: “The question before us is not how to respond to the pandemic, but who holds the power to do so. The answer is clear: Under the law as it stands today, that power rests with the States and Congress, not OSHA.” I completely agree, Justice Gorsuch!
I would like to thank the Supreme Court for this correct ruling. Think about this: had President Trump not defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016, Justices Barrett, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh would not be on the court.
The Supreme Court’s decision was a huge win for freedom-loving Americans but everyone knows that Joe Biden won’t stop trying to find other ways to force Americans to get the jab. That’s why this week I cosponsored the No Mandates Act prohibiting any federal agency from ordering any individual receive a vaccination for COVID-19 for access to federal property or federal services.

Did you know that foreign investors account for almost one-third of investment in single-family rental homes in the United States? It’s true! A recent report by the Washington Post shows that global investors, especially China, are gobbling up middle-class suburban homes, outbidding families and first-time home-buyers and driving up prices.
As a result, 47% of renters in rural America pay one third or more of their income in rent each month. Worse, the Chinese Communist Party is attempting to buy up land in the United States, with an emphasis on farmland to gain strategic leverage over the United States. This is a direct threat to American way of life and our economic security.
Congress must take serious action to prevent America’s land from being gobbled up by foreign nations. In response, this week I cosponsored H.R. 6383, the National Security Moratorium on Foreign Purchases of U.S. Land Act to prohibit foreigners from purchasing public or private land in the United States for five years.

This week I cosponsored three very important pieces of legislation designed to improve border security along the southern border.
H.R. 1707, the Border Visibility and Security Act directs the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to install surveillance technology, including radar systems, tunnel detection technology and usage of unmanned aerial vehicles to establish situational awareness and operational control of the border. The bill also requires the DHS to eradicate invasive Carrizo cane and salt cedar that can grow over 25 feet tall, making it easier for criminals to hide from Border Patrol agents by blocking their view.
I also cosponsored H.R. 4593, the Securing our Border States Act. This important legislation would establish a block grant program that would allow border states to continue constructing a barrier along their borders with Mexico, since Joe Biden doesn’t give a damn about securing our southern border. The bill would give direct access to funding to Governors of southwest border states who certify that they will use the funding for wall construction.
Lastly, this week I cosponsored H.R. 2003, the Secure the Southern Border Act, legislation that would enact into law President Trump’s border policies that had a proven record of vastly slowing illegal border crossings. This includes ending “catch and release,” reinstating the “Remain in Mexico” policy, partnering with state and local law enforcement to enforce immigration laws and ending sanctuary cities and allowing the National Guard to help defend our homeland by bolstering Border Patrol’s manpower.

This week, a member of my team, Sean Johnson, was proud to join Chief Brice in attending the opening ceremonies for the Queen Creek Police Department. The new police force will be instrumental in patrolling the streets of the rapidly growing town in my congressional district. While leaders in some woke cities across the country are dangerously defunding their police departments, Queen Creek’s town council wisely approved the formation of the new police department nearly two years ago. Welcome Chief Brice, we are happy that your team is serving our community! Let us know how we can help.
