Facebook Admits It was Pressured by the FBI to Hurt Donald Trump
During an interview this week with podcaster Joe Rogan, Meta/Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted he conspired with the FBI to censor an incontrovertible New York Post article in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.
For those of you who haven’t been following the laptop scandal, Hunter Biden turned his laptop in for repairs and forgot about it for months. The FBI has had the laptop in its possession for more than two years and it contains a trove of criminal activity by Joe and Hunter Biden. So damning is the information that the FBI feared that Joe Biden would lose the 2020 presidential election if the contents of the laptop became public. So, they falsely and knowingly claimed that the New York Post’s story was nothing more than Russian misinformation and pressured Facebook to censor it.
I outlined in a recent newsletter how the FBI staged Michigan Governor Whitmer’s kidnapping, colluded with Hillary Clinton to spy on Donald Trump and unjustly raided President Trump’s residence so I am not at all surprised that the FBI worked with Facebook to bury the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop months before the 2020 presidential election. The FBI has been lying and engaging in disinformation to unjustly persecute Donald Trump and his supporters for years. The sad reality is that the FBI has turned into a domestic surveillance agency that attacks and monitors citizens, intimidates and silences political opponents and continues to turn a blind eye to mounting evidence of illegal activities by Joe Biden and his son. As if the time of this writing, there have been no pre-dawn raids on the home of Hunter Biden by the FBI, in case anyone reading this newsletter was wondering.
Gosar Demands Release of Affidavit Used to Raid President Trump’s Residence
This week I introduced a resolution directing United States Attorney General Merrick Garland transmit a complete and unredacted copy of the affidavit to the House of Representatives related to the unprecedented August 8, 2022 raid on President Trump’s home.
One day after Mark Zuckerberg admitted to censoring the Bidens' laptop corruption story, the Department of Justice (DOJ) released pages and pages of the heavily or fully redacted affidavit.
Here’s just one page of the released affidavit:
Sorry, Merrick, that is simply not good enough. The DOJ is trying to hide the truth from the public. Congress and the American people are demanding to know why the FBI raided the home of Biden’s political adversary. Instead of transparency and clearly stated reasons, Attorney General Merrick Garland continues to engage in a blatant attempt to persecute former President Trump.

Gosar Requests Briefing from Corps of Engineers on Flood Damages
This week, I sent a letter sent to Lieutenant General Spellmon of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requesting a briefing related to the flood occurrences in Colorado City, Arizona including the history of property damage and flood deaths and any proposals being considered for a levee to protect against future flood waters. Unfortunately, flooding is a serious problem in Mohave County and Colorado City and there have been 19 disaster declarations in recent years. I am looking forward to this briefing with the Army Corps and will be sure to report back on my discussions.
Biden Saddles EVERY taxpayer with $2100 in Someone Else’s Student Loan Debt
This week, Joe Biden announced he would “forgive” $10,000 federal student loans for single borrowers making under $125,000 and $20,000 for couples making under $250,000.
You may ask, rightly, why you should pay your mortgage, rent or car payments? If some people get student loans written off, why can’t your mortgage or car loan be written off? I will not tolerate such inconsistent blatant favoritism. Either we all pay our debts or none do. There is no constitutional basis for any of these actions. The problem is not student loans. The problem is exorbitant college costs and useless college degrees.
Unfortunately, college costs continue to soar in part because of overgenerous federal lending policies. And as federal loans have become all too easy to obtain, colleges are all the more willing to increase tuition knowing there will be a constant funding stream of student loans.
I understand the importance of education, and I realize that student loan debt can be a major problem for struggling families during this rough economy. As a dental student, I worked multiple jobs to cover some of the costs of my education, but still accrued debt.
While cancelling student loans may sound like a great deal for the millions of Americans carrying around debt from college, student loan “forgiveness” isn’t free or fair. In fact, the price tag of Biden’s latest midterm bribe will cost American taxpayers an estimated $300 billion to as much as $1 trillion, according to the Penn Wharton Budget Model. That translates to every taxpayer having to pay $2100 to “forgive” someone else’s student loans. This is incredibly unfair to those who made a conscious decision to avoid debt or worked tirelessly to pay off their student loan debts.
By the way, if you are wondering how Joe Biden can do this without Congressional authority, he’s using the COVID-19 national emergency declarations powers I wrote about last month in a special edition newsletter. Don’t worry if you missed that newsletter, click here to read it! Let’s back up and review for a moment: last February Joe Biden extended the COVID-19 national emergency, which is total silliness since the pandemic is long over. Biden is now claiming that the COVID-19 national emergency declaration gives him the authority to “forgive” student loans by somehow suggesting with a straight face that Americans cannot pay their loans because of COVID-19. Clearly, this is an abuse of power. On a side note, twice I have moved to terminate the national emergency and both times Nancy Pelosi changed the rules of the entire House to prevent this from happening. But I have a plan to get it done, trust me.
Gosar Sponsors Legislation Protecting Children from Genital Mutilation and Child Abuse Surgery
This week, I cosponsored H.R. 8731, the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, legislation that would make it a felony to provide gender mutilation surgery to youths under the age of 18 years old. Misnamed by the Wokies on the Left as “gender-affirming care,” this is really nothing more than child abuse. H.R. 8731 would outlaw more than a dozen medical procedures used to permanently mutilate young people, including puberty blockers, hormone therapy and surgeries performed for the purpose of changing a young person’s gender that differs from their biological sex. The practice of genital mutilation, chemical castration and removing young females’ breasts is disgusting and appalling and anyone performing these horrific procedures should go to jail.

It’s Mail Time!
This week, I thought I would share a very thoughtful letter I received from Barbara P. from Dateland, Arizona:
Good afternoon, Dr Gosar!
I just listened to your interview with Rick Manning from Americans for Limited Government. I want to tell you how proud I am to be one of your constituents. It was just dumb luck that had me buy property in Dateland, Arizona, but I am thrilled that you continue to fight for the rights of all Americans and I can help vote you back into office.
Keep up the great work!
Dear Barbara, thanks for taking time to write. I appreciate that you enjoyed listening to my recent interview with Rick Manning. For those who didn’t get a chance to hear it yet, here is a link to the full interview: Paul Gosar: We Need to Return to Equal Application of the Law
On a different note, my amazing staff received this not so nice correspondence from Casey M. from Prescott, AZ:
Your boss is a moron. Your boss keeps trying to pretend that climate change isn't a real threat. Same lame playbook that Republicans have been running for about 4 decades. Only difference is that now people don't need to hear scientific projections--they see climate change in their daily lives. Guess what, it's only going to get worse.
Also, lots of cherry picking in the analysis of tax rates.
I'm sure you know that.
Please tell your boss to go back to being a dentist, he has no place in government during this serious time.
Dear Casey, the climate and our weather, have been “changing” for the entire history of the world. There have been droughts, floods, forest fires, glacial freezes, volcanic eruptions and everything else well documented throughout history. You live in fear and resort to name calling. The rest of us live in peace protected by our love of God and mercy from Jesus.
