Rep. Gosar Hosts Agribusiness Roundtable in Buckeye

Big government is no friend to rural Arizona or to our agricultural producers’

BUCKEYE, ARIZONA –– Yesterday, U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S. (R-AZ) hosted a roundtable discussion in Buckeye, Arizona with local agricultural producers and small business owners. The topics of discussion included reforming federal policies that impact Arizona agriculture, burdensome regulations, and uncertainty in the tax code. Congressman Gosar also highlighted his work in Congress that would benefit Arizona agriculture, create jobs and spur the local economy. Congressman Gosar issued the following statement:

“Big government is no friend to rural Arizona or to our agricultural producers – the cultivators of the land. It became increasingly clear at the Buckeye roundtable that government hinders our agricultural industry with heavy handed rules and regulations. I will continue to do all I can to reduce the size of government and allow our agricultural community to flourish and prosper. I also thank all of those who participated in the discussion and I look forward to returning to Buckeye.”
