Today, as wildfires burn in Arizona, Congressman Paul Gosar D.D.S. (R-AZ) filed the “Catastrophic Wildfire Prevention Act of 2012” (H.R.5744), legislation intended to remove bureaucratic red tape that slows or restricts forest health projects.

Congressman Gosar Votes To Address Sequestration and Protect Vital Services for Men and Women of the Armed Services Bill Contains Nearly $333 Billion in Long Term Cuts

U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S (R-AZ) issued the following statement today about his vote to end sequestration. “I remain exasperated by the failure of the ‘Super Committee’ and like many throughout Arizona and our nation I fear that without immediate action there would have been unacceptable cuts to our armed services. This is why I supported today’s bill which not only averts a $500 billion cut which would threaten our national defense and put those serving our nation at risk.”
