IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Congressman Gosar Sets the Record Straight on ACORN

Congressman Gosar has never supported Acorn. Despite the fact that the group is no longer operational, Gosar has voted three times for legislation that ensures ACORN does not receive taxpayer dollars.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 25, 2012 CONTACT: Apryl Marie Fogel IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: This month, the Office of Congressman Paul Gosar began fielding calls from constituents concerned about recent misrepresentations of a vote Congressman Gosar took on the now defunct group ACORN. In April of 2010, ACORN closed all of its state affiliates and field offices. By the time Congressman Gosar took office, this group had no longer operated, participated in or funded any programs or activities. Despite the fact that the group is no longer functional, several amendments have been brought forth related to their activities. Congressman Paul Gosar has voted three times in support of legislation that defunds the defunct group, ACORN.
