Obama Land Grab Cancelled
This week the Trump Administration canceled the Obama Administration’s proposed 425,000 acre land grab in Northern Minnesota.

  • Western Caucus spearheaded this effort and took several actions to fight this overreach including passing a bill and an amendment.

USDA Secretary Perdue Meets with Caucus
On Thursday, U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue attended our Monthly Member meeting.
The Secretary and our Members had an excellent conversation on the the Farm Bill, wildfires and the other main priorities of the Department.







Record Oil and Gas Sale Nears $1 Billion
The BLM's oil and gas lease sale in New Mexico last week broke all previous records and grossed nearly $1 billion. 48% of the revenues will go to New Mexico and the rest will go to the U.S. Treasury. #EnergyDominance

House Passes Johnson's LNG Export Bill
On Thursday, the House passed the Ensuring Small Scale LNG Certainty and Access Act. This common sense bill will further increase American energy dominance by expediting the permitting process for the small-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) market. Such action will create thousands of jobs, increase regulatory certainty and help reduce global emissions.
