Fighting for Election Integrity

Protecting Your Vote!

Like many of you, I am DEEPLY concerned about the numerous voting irregularities we've seen this past week as it relates to the Presidential Election. I want you to know that I will fight to make sure every legal vote is counted. Given some of the troubling developments, this race may indeed be far from over.

Dominion Software:

A "computer glitch" in Michigan in one county alone took more than 5,000 Trump votes and gave them to Biden. This is very troubling because this same software is also used in the five battleground states that keep "finding" Biden votes, including right here in Maricopa County.

According to Sidney Powell, a member of President Trump's legal team, " We have identified at least 450,000 votes in key states that only voted for Joe Biden and no other Democrats or Republicans. We have uncovered 98,000 in Pennsylvania, 80-90,000 in Georgia, 42,000 in Arizona, 69-115,000 in Michigan, and 62,000 in Wisconsin." If this is true - it appears systemic. We're getting reports of all sorts of fraud, including postal workers coming forward about being ordered to backdate ballots and confirmed reports of dead relatives voting.

Therefore, I'm asking for a hand tally of all the mail ballots here in Arizona. We need to tally all ballots, Republican, Independent and Democrat and compare those numbers against the machine and they should match. If they have large variances, you've discovered the problem. I am calling on Governor Doug Ducey to call a special session of the AZ Legislature under Article IV of our state constitution to investigate the accuracy and reliability of the Dominion ballot software and its impact on our general election. No election results should be certified until a complete audit of the Dominion machine tallied votes is finished.

It's important we do this. Back in 2000, there were a significant number of Democrats who did not accept the results of the 2000 campaign - that's where many of our divisions began. Many voters felt the election wasn't free, fair and accurate. We cannot make that same mistake again. Therefore, we should all support the President's efforts to ensure that every legal vote is counted. It is his duty and responsibility to our nation.

All Eyes on Georgia

Georgia on My Mind

Balance of Power:

The state of Georgia is playing an unusual power-broker role in the knife-edge balance-of-power struggle playing out between Democrats and Republicans over the U.S. Senate following Tuesday’s elections. Georgia’s two Senate seats were both up for election this year, and both races are headed for run-off elections on Jan. 5 after no candidate in either race managed to win a majority of the votes. As election results stand as of Friday, the Democrats and the Republicans will each hold 48 seats in the 100-member Senate. Two other races in addition to Georgia are still outstanding, but both are widely expected to be won by Republicans. Democrats failed to generate the “blue wave” of voters they hoped for on Nov. 3 but won enough Senate races to pick up a 48th seat in the Senate. Democrats would face long odds in winning both Senate seats in traditionally Republican-leaning Georgia, but if they do succeed and Joe Biden wins the White House, that would give a Vice President Kamala Harris a 51st tie-breaking vote. It sets the stage for an intense two months of campaigning as money, political operatives and the news media pour into Georgia.

Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!

Job Growth Stronger than Expected in October:

Despite being in the midst of a pandemic, employment growth was better than expected in October and the unemployment rate fell dramatically. The Labor Department reported Friday that nonfarm payrolls increased by 638,000 and the unemployment rate was at 6.9%.

A survey of households showed an even stronger level of job growth, with the total employment level rising by 2.24 million and the employment-to-population ratio increasing by 0.8 percentage points to 57.4%. The household survey also showed a decline of 1.52 million in the total unemployed level and a drop of 541,000 in those considered not in the labor force.

October’s gains would have been even better were it not for the loss of 147,000 Census workers that contributed to an overall fall of 268,000 in government jobs. In all, private job creation came to 906,000, better than September’s 892,000.

Those reporting that they had been out of work because their employer had lost business or closed during the pandemic also dropped considerably, falling to 15.1 million from 19.4 million in September.

Markets reacted somewhat positively to the news, with Dow futures erasing most of their earlier losses. The biggest job gains came in the hardest-hit sector during the pandemic, as leisure and hospitality jumped by 271,000. Of that total, bars and restaurants increased 192,000. “The strength of this report is really amazing in the face of rising coronavirus cases,” said Michael Arone, chief investment strategist at State Street Global Advisors.

@RepGosar: Where do I sign up?

This in response to @RepMattGaetz Tweet: "A full audit is absolutely necessary. We should get injunctions if necessary. And if I have to do it, I'll fight on the floor of the House of Representatives to stop the Electoral College from being certified."
