Gosar Announces Congressional Art Competition Ceremony Details

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04), announces details for the 2018 Congressional Art Competition Award Ceremony and Reception. The ceremony and reception will be held in Wickenburg, Arizona at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum on Saturday, April 28th at 1:00pm - 2:30pm. Local high school students will display their artwork for the public. Congressman Gosar will present the winning pieces of art during the ceremony. The winner of the online, public contest known as the “People’s Choice Awards” will also be recognized with an award.

“Each year I look forward to reviewing all of the artwork submissions from the talented students in Arizona," said Congressman Gosar. "This contest is a great opportunity to encourage artistic talent from Arizona and across the country.”

93 pieces were submitted for the contest from 10 high schools throughout the district.
