American Conservative Union Gives Rep. Gosar Award For Conservative Excellence

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after the American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) released its 2017 scorecard which gave the Congressman a 96% score for “voting to uphold conservative principles.”

“I am honored to receive the American Conservative Union’s highest award of Conservative Excellence," said Congressman Gosar. "Since I arrived in 2010, I have honored my word to take tough votes in order to preserve our liberty and hold our government accountable. I’m thankful for groups like the American Conservative Union for recognizing members whose actions match their words.”

This year’s Congressional ratings included monumental votes on issues such as tax reform, Obamacare, and the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Members of Congress who held firm during these historic votes have received double credit for upholding conservative principles.
